The owner of the tricycle felt his heart pounding wildly, as if it was about to leap out of his mouth.

He clutched at his chest and got off the tricycle; just as he stepped onto the ground, his legs gave way, causing him to stumble almost falling down. The tricycle owner used his hands to support himself on the ground and made it to the roadside curb where he sat, panting heavily while sweat dripped from his forehead in the chilly winter night.

After some time passed, his heart finally calmed down. It was then that he realized what had happened. He looked around but couldn’t figure out how he ended up here or understand the strange occurrence that had just transpired, especially the sudden appearance and disappearance of a golden light which had saved his life.

Regardless of where he turned, there were no signs of anything unusual, so he could only sigh in resignation before standing up and moving his stiff legs. He then got back on his tricycle and left.

Xiao Yu was in a spirit state with his eyes always in the Yin-Yang vision mode. After saving the tricyclist, Xiao Yu stood beside the tricycle, looking around.

After surveying the surroundings, he didn’t notice anything unusual. He thought to himself that this might just have been an accident. However, there was something off about it which he couldn't pinpoint.

Xiao Yu shook his head helplessly when he saw the old man riding away on his tricycle as he hadn’t figured out what exactly had gone wrong. Xiao Yu’s spirit then slowly rose into the air and vanished; upon reappearing, he was already in his room.

Xiao Yu's spirit immediately entered his body through his head. Afterwards, sitting cross-legged with his eyes open, he looked around before closing them again.

The next morning, as soon as it began to get light, Xiao Yu called the Lao Ma family and told them to bring the patient to Zhonghai as quickly as possible for treatment.

Although they didn’t know why they needed to travel all the way to Zhonghai for medical care, since there was hope for treatment, they naturally wouldn't let this opportunity slip away. As such, the family quickly packed up and headed to the train station to catch a train to Zhonghai.

Over these past three years, due to Li Jie's illness, their household had spent a significant amount of money; therefore, they were now trying to save as much as possible.

Xiao Yu received a call from the Old Ma family and then called Li Jie to tell her that the people from the Old Ma family, who were also her relatives, would come to Zhonghai in the evening. Their soul swapping had been arranged for nighttime.

Since there was nothing to do during the day, Xiao Yu suddenly decided to tour Zhonghai. He went out of the hotel and asked for a Zhonghai city tourism map at the reception desk before leaving the hotel.

Xiao Yu flipped through the map in his hand and realized that the hotel he was staying in was only about two kilometers away from the subway.

Since it was his first time in Zhonghai, Xiao Yu didn’t take a taxi but strolled slowly toward the direction of the subway.

Xiao Yu bought a ticket and got on the train. He found a seat to sit down and closed his eyes to rest.

"Ah.........!"

Just as Xiao Yu was resting with his eyes closed, he heard an ear-piercing scream from a woman at the front of the carriage. Hearing this scream, everyone who was nearby rushed over.

Xiao Yu was startled awake by the scream and opened his eyes abruptly. Seeing that there were many people gathered around, Xiao Yu noticed that in his current vision state where he saw everything in black and white, nothing seemed out of place, so he didn’t go to see what happened.

The woman who had just screamed then let out another terrified cry immediately after.

Hearing her scream, the people gathered around became restless, even causing a panic. Everyone there quickly retreated backward.

When Xiao Yu heard this second scream, he was stunned for a moment. What he saw now was equivalent to when his Yin-Yang Eyes were open. When she first screamed, Xiao Yu had already glanced over in that direction.

In his eyes, everything there seemed normal with nothing out of place. Although he didn’t know why the woman had screamed, he wasn’t particularly concerned about it.

However, when this woman shouted that there was a ghost just now, Xiao Yu suddenly opened his eyes wide and stared at that direction in surprise. He did not see any fluctuations of Yin煞energy (negative spirit energy), but she had shouted that there was a ghost. This made him feel very strange, so he stood up and planned to go over there as well.

Although the carriage was dimly lit in these underground tunnels, Xiao Yu could still see everything clearly. Especially now, after the woman's terrified scream, everyone had moved far away from where she was, making it easier for him to see what was happening.

There, a woman in her thirties sat petrified at one corner of the carriage, staring opposite her direction. Every time she attempted to stand up, her legs felt weak and she couldn't manage it.

Xiao Yu followed her gaze towards the opposite side of the carriage where another woman with long hair was seated. At this moment, no one else was around this woman's seat; those who were originally sitting nearby had all moved far away, staring fearfully at her.

Glancing at the long-haired woman, Xiao Yu didn't understand why everyone was so scared. He could tell with just a glance that she was human.

The woman in the corner now couldn’t stand up and huddled into herself even more, occasionally glancing fearfully at the woman opposite her while repeatedly screaming, "Ghost... there's a ghost..."

Xiao Yu stood up and walked over towards them since he couldn't discern why everyone was so frightened just by looking.

Upon getting closer, seeing how people were staring fearfully at the long-haired woman made him shift his gaze to her as well.

Seeing this woman, Xiao Yu paused momentarily. Her face was deathly pale, with dark purple around her eyes and lips; additionally, there was a red line drawn under each eye resembling tears of blood. Seeing this, after the initial shock, he found it amusing.

Xiao Yu could clearly sense the vital energy of life on her, making it evident she was human, not a ghost at all! It seemed like someone had dressed up as one!

Moreover, this long-haired woman who was dressed up as a ghost stared unblinkingly at the cowering woman in the corner. That's why even though others were scared, they didn't huddle and tremble like her; their tear marks were still visible on their faces.

"Miss... Should I call you Miss Ghost or Miss Human"

Seeing everyone’s panic-stricken state, Xiao Yu walked closer to the long-haired woman and asked.

In the beginning, Xiao Yu was hesitant about how to address her.

The long-haired woman, dressed up as a female ghost, heard Xiao Yu's words and slowly turned her head around. When turning her head, it gave people the impression that her neck was stiff and inflexible.

The onlookers behind Xiao Yu, upon seeing the long-haired woman turn her head around, immediately retreated or dispersed to both sides as if they were afraid that this ghost would remember them.

Xiao Yu did not run away but looked at the long-haired woman with a smile playing on his lips. When he saw the long-haired woman looking at him, Xiao Yu's smile instantly vanished.

"Everyone, don't be afraid! This ghost is actually someone pretending to be one!" Xiao Yu shouted out loud when he saw everyone in panic and distress.

Perhaps due to his cultivation of the righteous energy訣 (Zheng Qi Jue), there was an invisible sense of righteousness in Xiao Yu's voice. Therefore, these panicked people gradually quieted down after hearing Xiao Yu’s words. Even that woman who was trembling in a corner calmed down upon hearing what he said.

Instinctively, they believed what Xiao Yu had to say because his words seemed to carry a convincing charm when it fell on their hearts.

At this moment, once these people were settled, all of them turned their gazes towards the woman. Seeing that everyone was looking at her, she who was initially calm suddenly grew anxious and avoided eye contact with others.

The people inside the carriage saw her current state; they could not help but know what had happened. Thus, when they looked at her, it was filled with anger.

Although these people were angry, seeing the woman's pale makeup-covered face, none of them acted out and instead moved away from this woman. Meanwhile, that trembling woman who sat in a corner also ran out from there, finding another seat to sit on and wait for the train to arrive at its destination.

Xiao Yu looked at the long-haired woman sitting motionlessly and softly said, "Little girl, don't play such games anymore. Some things you can't afford to mess with, understand"

Although this long-haired woman had thick white makeup on her face, based on his intuition, Xiao Yu knew that she wasn’t very old, which is why he advised her.

This kind of behavior might be seen as a prank or mischief by ordinary people, but Xiao Yu knew there were certain things that couldn't be toyed with. For instance, this girl's act of impersonating a ghost; if done in a place rich in yin energy (Yin Sha), it would likely attract real ghosts to join her.hinese doctors would not be beyond their reach. Ordinary officials and wealthy people might treat these miracle doctors with respect and consider them honored guests, but at their level, no matter how...
